Quilted Birch Coffee Table: $500

Heirlooms:
You may choose to have us create an heirloom piec
e utilizing wood we’ve sawn for you. This is a pure form of “reuse/recycle” and you get an item that becomes a special part of your family for generations to come.

Keepsakes: A gift that is locally-handcrafted and unique tells the recipient that he or she is truly special. We create beautiful small pieces that your loved one will enjoy and treasure forever.

Functional Pieces:
The best hand-crafted things are the ones you use every day. Whether it’s a bluebird nesting box or a 75 square foot pine bar top, the items we make will s
erve you well for years.

Sawmill: Your home construction and woodworking projects are much more rewarding and much less expensive when you do them yourself. Wouldn’t it be even better if you could cut the big box stores right out of the picture—and instead use higher quality, locally processed materials grown at your fingertips?

Upper Farm Wood Products offers custom sawmill services. We will bring our portable Woodmizer to your site and process your logs exactly to spec. We can also plane your rough lumber and advise on kiln-drying and processing your materials—like shiplap or tongue-in-groove.

Specialty Lumber:
We cater to weekend woodworkers who work on small-scale, special projects. Need a small piece of applewood, cherry, curly maple or quarter-sawn oak? We may just have what you need, without the hassle or expense of buying from a big box store. We love having unique, native-grown wood species that add to the character and value of one-of-a-kind heirloom projects.

Livestock Shelters: As alpaca farmers, we think that everyone who falls in love with these majestic animals should have them. As part of our mission, we’ve designed a custom shelter kit that’s perfect for them. It can be used for other light livestock, horse shelter, or any type of building you might need. Once we’ve sawn your lumber onsite, we can erect your sturdy shelter—either post & beam or stick built construction. Of course, we’ll be more than happy to provide you with the alpacas to fill your new shelter.

Home & Garden: Brush-hogging: If your property has been claimed by scrubby, overgrown brush and weeds we’ll help you take it back using our 72” mowing implement. Rototilling: We’ll help you get started on your seasonal garden, or take that overgrown field and turn it over so you can put it to better use.

Farm Planning & Layout: Fiber farming is a great way to utilize your land and enjoy a traditional yet appealing lifestyle. If you’re researching small farming, we can help. We’ll look at your footprint and your objectives and work with you to come up with the most efficient and cost-effective plan to get you on your way to your dream of living on a small farm.

Light Logging & Lot Clearing: Have a small woodlot or stand of trees, but not the time or inclination to take them down? We do light logging by tractor, which is easier on the land than large industrial skidders.
